Two Hours of Drumming Practice, September 6, 2025

I’ve been taking my drumming slowly during the hot Tokyo summer, but since it has been almost a month since my last practice, I went to my local studio today.

I continued to practice some of the 8th-note patterns from my last drumming lesson. The songs I drummed along to today included, but were not limited to, the following ones:

  • Land of 1000 Dances by Wilson Pickett

  • You Can’t Hurry Love by The Supremes

  • Karma Chameleon by Culture Club

  • Part-Time Lover by Stevie Wonder

Last time I still had difficulties to match the speed of the first two songs, but today I managed to keep up. ✌️
