Two Hours of Drumming Practice, August 10, 2025

It was a rainy and muggy day in Tokyo today, but I wanted to do some drumming practice - so I went to the local studio again that I had discovered last month.
During the month of August, the studio is running a discount campaign on rentals for three or more hours of band practice, and for students, which was advertised by this rather cheerful ad inside the practice room.

I practiced some of the 8th-note patterns from the last drumming lesson. My drumming teacher had left me with quite a varied choice of reference songs; here are two examples of what I tried to play along with today:
