Two Hours of Drumming Practice, May 18, 2025

Today, I did two hours of drumming practice at the usual rental studio in Ochanomizu, Tokyo, in order to work on some 16th-note beats from the previous lesson.

Below are some video samples. The 16th-note patterns are more challenging than the previous 8th-note patterns, and in some cases I’m not quite there yet. But I continue to have a lot of fun learning and practicing. As in previous practice sessions, I also chose an unrelated famous drum fill to take a stab at.
