The focus of today’s drumming lesson was on limb independence - the ability of a drummer to coordinate their limbs to play different rhythms simultaneously.
For a relative newbie like me, it’s challenging, but it is also a lot of fun - much more so than it might look like in the short sample below. 😀
Later in the lesson, a secondary focus was on hi hat accents.
