岐阜県・高山市

Koinobori (carp-shaped windsocks) are hung across the Miyagawa River in the city of Takayama, Gifu Prefecture, Japan.

The time around Children’s Day (May 5th) - a bank holiday that is part of Golden Week in Japan - is when koinobori 🎏 can be seen in many locations across the country.

Shot with iPhone 5. Edited in Adobe Lightroom 5.7.
