京都・永観堂禅林寺

Eikandō Zenrin-ji, located north of Nanzenji in eastern Kyoto, Japan, is famous for its fall foliage and for its prominence in the past as a center of learning.

At the peak of autumn, this is a truly spectacular place to enjoy the seasonally colored leaves, as well as an accompanying snack.
