Autumn at Sagano, Kyoto, Japan [1]: Seiryoji Temple

Seiryōji (清凉寺) is a Buddhist temple in the Sagano area of Kyoto, Japan. The temple is known for its highly venerated sandalwood image of Shaka (Shakyamuni), the historical Buddha. In autumn, the changing colors of the foliage add a lively touch to the pleasant and quaint temple premises.
