Norbert Woehnl A view of Ogimachi Village at Shirakawagō (白川郷) in Gifu Prefecture, Japan. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995, this area is famous for its traditional thatched-roof farmhouses, some of which are more than 250 years old.
