Besides being home to the iconic Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kyoto’s Fushimi (伏見) Ward is known for being Japan’s second-largest sake-producing area. The sake breweries are located in a neighborhood that features an interesting array of old stores, such as the tea shop on this street corner.
