The Hyōgo Daibutsu (兵庫大仏) in Kobe is known as one of the three big Buddhas in Japan, in the same class with the Nara and Kamakura Daibutsus. The statue at Nōfukuji Temple (能福寺) in Kobe is 11 meters tall, and weighs in at 60 tons.
