Double Spiral Staircase, Graz, Austria

The late gothic double spiral staircase inside the Burg of Graz, Austria, dates back to 1499. Locals call the two mirror-imaged winding staircases, that meet at each floor, the “stairs of reconciliation”: if you go separate ways, you will reunite.
