Walking the Dog, Fushimi, Kyoto, Japan

Besides being home to the iconic Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kyoto’s Fushimi (伏見) Ward is known for being Japan’s second-largest sake-producing area. It is possible to visit some of the sake breweries, a few of which are located along the pleasant Horikawa Canal – where boat tours are available, and locals can be seen walking their dogs 🙂
