Norbert Woehnl Kushida Jinja (櫛田神社) in Fukuoka, Japan, was founded in the 8th century, with the present structure dating back to 1587. The shrine lies at the heart of old Hakata, and serves as the center of the Yamakasa-Gion Festival that is held every year in mid-July.
