In 1996/97, I created the content for those pages from scratch. At the time, there was no Wikipedia yet, IMDb was still in its early stages, and there weren't many other comprehensive sites on classic movies or movie personalities to speak of.
In the mid-1990s, I had a TV card in my Windows PC, into which I plugged my VCR to capture some still images, and to record some simple *.wav sound files of dialogue snippets. I manually transcribed movie dialogues by frequently stopping the tape and taking notes.
For this content recreation on my current website, I reused some of the original transparent gif images from 1997 as section separators - they give a bit of a "retro" touch that I hope you will enjoy as much as I do. For the movie dialogue *.wav sound clips, I had to come up with a workaround and host them publicly on a file sharing service - you will be given a choice of direct playback or download.1
