This photo was taken while climbing to the main castle keep in 2014. I was incredibly lucky to be able to see the castle before it was severely damaged during an earthquake in April 2016. The interior of the castle keep was re-opened to the public in 2021, but major repair works are expected to continue on the castle grounds until around 2042.
