Website Design and Features

We are your one-stop shop when it comes to assisting you with the design, development, testing and go-live of your new photography website. Each site is originally implemented to suit your needs, and will include the following standard features:

• original design layout (texts, backgrounds, color scheme, page navigation)
• unlimited amount of photos
• Adobe Flash® and/or XHTML photo galleries
  (preferred tool is Jalbum with FotoPlayer skin, as used on this website)
• watermarking and/or right-click protection of your images
• search engine programming
• visitor counter (hidden or visible) and related statistics

On top of the standard features, the following optional functionalities can additionally be included in the website design:

• multi-language capability for overall website features as specified above
• customized website guestbook - if desired in multiple languages
  (based on Talkback script, as used on this website)
• customized website feedback/contact form - if desired in multiple languages
  (based on GBCF-v3 script, as used on this website)
• enabling and configuration of FotoPlayer shopping cart feature, to sell your photos online
• enabling and configuration of FotoPlayer e-Card and image rating features
• integration of blog (based on WordPress - preferred theme is Thematic, as seen on this website's blog, but others can be used as well)
• integration of discussion forum (preferred tool is phpBB3)
• implementation of entire website in a database-driven Content Management System (CMS)
  (preferred tool is Contenido)

From the list above, you can see that we prefer to use GNU/GPL-licensed tools and products. You may choose that a product with a non-free software license is included in your website, under the condition that you bear all incremental and/or recurring license costs in addition to our website design service fees.

Prior to go-live of your new website, you will review, test and approve the design, in order to ensure that it meets your needs and expectations.


Website Hosting and Maintenance

Ongoing maintenance of website content (such as revisions of static page text, or update of published photos) is available as an additional service.

Your photography website can be uploaded to any web space or domain that is owned and accessible by you, no matter whether it is a paid or a free web hosting service. You can upload your website (which will be delivered to you on DVD-ROM) yourself, or you may use our convenient upload service.

We can also offer you an attractively-priced sub-domain at any of the following web addresses:

• onlinephotogs.com
• travelphotoweb.info
• phototraveller.info
• photopical.com

In that case, the address of your photo website could be something like yourname.onlinephotogs.com, or your-name.travelphotoweb.info. Each sub-domain includes up to five e-mail addresses, and sufficient space to host the page content and up to 1.000 photos. Initial upload/publishing of your website is included in this option.

Lastly, Norbert Woehnl Photography is also happy to assist you in finding a hosting provider and registering a completely new domain name of your choice - please notice though that as we are based in Germany, our legal and logistical options to fulfill specific domain registration and hosting-provider wishes of international clients are somewhat limited.


Pricing and Further Information

You may download/view our price list by clicking on the pdf logo: . 50% of the total fee has to be paid in advance, the other 50% after you have reviewed and approved the final design and functionality. If you opt to pay the entire amount in advance, you will receive a 10% discount.
